Post 2: Why did I Choose my Major?

Hello! I'm studying Public Administration at the University of Chile. I decided to study this career because I have always been interested in being able to help and contribute to the welfare of citizens. However, when I was a child I dreamed of being a painter or even a veterinarian, so that I could help cure the dogs that were on the streets, but in the end I realized that biology or anything related to medicine was not my thing. However, when I was in high school my other study options were Forestry Engineering and Architure. Finally I decided to study Public Administration because this career has a very interesting field of work as it is quite broad.

I have been studying Public Administration online for 2 years due to the covid-19 pandemic, which has been quite exhausting and stressful, since I miss being able to share with my friends or my classmate and of course the face-to-face dialogue with professors.

    I also miss everything related to face-to-face classes :( I think online classes are much more stressful and sometimes it seems as if I have twice as much work being at home.

Blog 4: A Meal or Food You Really Like

Hello, my favorite food is pasta that it's a food product that is obtained by preparing a flour dough, mixed with water, to which you can add salt, egg or other ingredients such as vegetables, then this is cooked in boiling water. It can also be accompanied with tomato sauce, pesto, sauces with meats or vegetables, to which you can add ingredients such as cheese or basil, among others. I like this food so much because it tastes and smells so good and we can find a great variety of types of pasta, such as spaghetti, ravioli, macaroni, tortellini, fettuccini, among others. It's also a very good source of energy, providing a good amount of fiber, vitamins and minerals. However, if you lead a sedentary life, a high consumption of pasta it could cause overweight, that is why the ideal is not to consume it more than 4 days a week and it should be accompanied with vegetables.

Blog 1: A country you would like to visit

  Hello everyone! One of the countries I would like to visit is Italy, because I’ve always liked the architecture of its cities like Florence, as well as the art and food of the country. What I know about Italy is that it is a country recognized worldwide for its gastronomy in pasta and pizza. It is also famous for its tourist attractions such as the great canal of Venice, the Colosseum in Rome, the Tower of Pisa, the archaeological parks of Naples, the Arch of Peace in Millan, the islands and paradisiacal beaches, among others. So there are many beautiful places that we can find in this wonderful country.
